Shiny is an R package that makes easy building interactive web applications straight from R. Shiny app has two components: one for app interface (ui.R) and the other (server.R) for handling interface Ajax postbacks.

R language is for statistical computing and graphics, it is hard to see the benefit of using R for web development. In this demo, I use Asp.Net with R.Net to simulate the well-known Shiny histogram example. Please check this demo with the one developed in Shiny, answer for the question if using Shiny for such a problem is up to you.
